Personal Devotion
Mood:  energetic

Devotion is not the same as preparation for Ministerial Duty, like preaching or teaching. This is preparation for you.

A few moments with God make your spirit ready for the battles of the day. If devotion is a regular time of listening to God through scriptures and prayer, your quiet time with God will help you maintain perspective in all the demands of life.

You will find God's place in all you do.

The bible teaches:

I AM the true vine, and my father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth no fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me , and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. (John 15:1-6 KJV)

Benediction:

All the saints  salute you. The grace of the of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:13-14 KJV)
